The Signature
The Signature is our aluminium dirt jump bike. It was built to meet the demands of our athletes at the sharp end of the dirt jump and slopestyle scene, and Marcel Hunt in particular was the catalyst. Like all of our products the Signature is built to last and has been put through the wringer on the development journey.
We see riders for the Signature and Monk as two different groups despite their obvious similarities. To see the benefits of the increased stiffness and geometry changes of the Signature you really need to be a ‘big set’ rider that frequently throws tricks. While the Monk is more than capable of this (see Dawson at Backwoods), its more casual and forgiving feel is better suited to those out for fun, and prefer a little more compliance when hitting features for the first time.
Simply put, the Signature is designed for riders focused on high-level technical tricks, where the responsiveness of the bike is crucial.
6066 T6
Making this frame from aluminium rather than our customary steel allowed us to create a frame that hits a far higher stiffness for the target weight while being more crash resistant than if a large diameter very thin wall steel tube was used. All materials have their strengths and limitations and for the unique demands of a hard charging dirt jump/slope bike aluminium makes the most sense.
The Signature takes many design cues from one of our longest running bikes, the monk.
key features
If DJ is your main field, the Signature is the one for you
geometry
The Signature is fairly close to the Monk in geo, but differs in two key areas. The BB is higher on the Signature and the headtube is longer, both equating to feeling more "on" the bike than "in" the bike. This has a significant advantage when executing tricks like tailwhips and no-footed cans.

THIS IS AN APPROXIMATE GUIDE, SOME PEOPLE HAVE LONGER LEGS THAN OTHERS!
Sizing
The Signature has a very different fit to our other bikes (but is similar to the Monk).
It only really gets longer (not taller) as you go up in size, which is why they are labelled short, long (rather than small, medium, large).

FAQ's
A 2.2” Maxxis fits with appropriate room around it.
No, there are no ISCG mounts on the Signature.
All our frames can work with +/-10mm of fork travel. To generalise the geometry change is around a 0.5° slacker head tube and seat tube angle for every 10mm added.
We setup our complete Signature builds with a 52mm chain line.
With a 52mm chainline (SRAM boost standard), the Signature can fit up to a 34-tooth chainring.
There is a serial number on the back of your fork arch, adding this to Rockshox Trailhead app along with your weight gives a good baseline setting.
There are no compatibility issues that we are aware of.
Please let us know if you have tried to fit a more obscure component and faced issues.
Greasing you seat post prevents this issues, we strongly recommend re-greasing every 6 months at a minimum.
The Signature is shipped with the front wheel and handlebar removed, so there isn't much assembly required.
Here's what you should do:
- Fit your handlebar, ensure it is centrally spaced and rolled to your liking. Tighten the stem faceplate evenly to 6Nm.
- Fit front wheel.
- Inflate tyres to desired pressure.
- Grease pedal threads and install pedals using pedal washers supplied.
- Adjust brakes and saddle position and height for personal preference.
- Set up suspension.
- Bed-in brake(s). (Roll down a gentle gradient dragging one brake at a time. Avoid locking them up.)
- Go ride!
Note: If you had to Google "Nm", or you don't own a shock pump, you should probably get a qualified mechanic to build your bike!
Here's what's been done:
• Chain length adjusted.
• Brakes set up and bled.
• Handlebar tightened to 6Nm.
• Crankset tight, bottom bracket tight/adjusted.
• Saddle and seatpost tight.
• Seatpost greased *make sure to re-grease every 6 months!
• Tubes installed.
• Cassette tight.
